ELLEN MCGINTY

Ellen McGinty is an author and editor of Young Adult fantasy and historical fiction. She lives in the Tokyo metropolis with her husband, three boys, and a hypoallergenic cat. When not writing or editing, you can find her exploring the wilds of Japan with an abundance of espresso.

If we’re talking fandoms, Ellen is a proud Ravenclaw, Hobbit, and secret Fire-bender. She has a Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing, is a volunteer editor for TeensPublish, and a Silver member of The Christian Pen.
Her debut YA fantasy novel with dragons, lots of heart, and autoimmune rep releases with Quill & Flame Publishers in March 2024. And her first novel, The Water Child, is a historical fiction tale about the 3/11 earthquake and tsunami, available on Amazon.
